Canon appoints new European online communications manager to revitalise web user experience

Eduardo Beltrão LONDON, November 7, 2006 – Canon Europe has appointed Eduardo Beltrão as European Online Communications Manager to spearhead the redesign of its website ( to reinforce the company’s status as a world -class, pan-European organisation.

Eduardo brings almost a decade of experience in web design and digital marketing to his new role with Canon, having previously held a number of consultancy positions including Interactive Consultant at Banner Corporation. During his time at Banner, Eduardo led the team that evolved the HP consumer website (and accompanying e-commerce facility) and successfully launched the HP Digital Photography Experience Centre in 12 countries.

His creative expertise in developing customer-focused user experiences will prove invaluable in his new role as European Online Communications Manager. Eduardo’s main function will be to enhance Canon’s website to excite visitors and help them discover the creative and productivity possibilities of its consumer and business products and solutions. He will also ensure that online content and solutions focus on customer needs and that this online customer experience is consistently supported across the business.
