Just the business: Canon launches two new projectors for the office

LV-7260 Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 23 January 2007: With the launch of the LV-7265 and LV-7260, Canon’s native XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) multimedia projectors are brought to a new level of affordability. Designed for business use, both projectors are equipped with a Canon wide-angle 1.6x zoom projection lens, for extremely flexible placement in the office environment.


Supporting progressive scan for flicker-free images, the LV-7265 has a brightness of 2500 lumens, while the LV-7260 has an output of 2000 lumens. With intuitive controls, extremely quiet operation and ultra-quick startup and shutdown, both models are easy to use: presentations run seamlessly. The upper-range LV-7265 features a powerful 5W RMS built-in audio speaker for convenient multimedia presentations. To optimise image quality from digital sources, the LV-7265 also features an HDCP compliant DVI input port.

The LV-7265 and LV-7260 feature:

  • Native XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels); maximum UXGA resolution (1600 x 1200 pixels)
  • The choice of projection at a powerful 2500 lumens (LV-7265) or at 2000 lumens (LV-7260)
  • 600:1 contrast ratio for deeper colours and darker blacks
  • Canon wide-angle 1.6x zoom projection lens, offering truly flexible placement for larger images even from short throw distances
  • User-friendly controls with an easy to navigate on-screen display, Screen

  • Quick startup (just 8 secs) and fast shutdown (30 secs),
  • Very quiet operation – 30dBA (LV-7265) or 29dBA (LV-7260) in Quiet Mode
