Canon i-SENSYS laser products win two Buyers Laboratory Inc. awards

HF10 Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 8 August 2008: Canon celebrates winning two awards from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI), the leading independent office products testing lab. The i-SENSYS MF4270 was picked as Outstanding Personal Monochrome Multifunction Printer for Spring 2008, while the i-SENSYS FAX-L3000IP was named Outstanding Fax-centric MFP – a BLI ‘Pick of the Year’ for 2008. Both awards re-affirm Canon’s leadership in these important markets.

“We are delighted that these two products have been recognised after undergoing the rigorous testing conditions that BLI operate,” said Akira Adachi, European Laser Product Manager, Canon Europe Ltd. “As we constantly seek to improve products across the i-SENSYS range, it is hugely encouraging to see our efforts rewarded.”

Offering big-office networked functionality in a deceptively compact device, the

David Sweetnam, BLI European Lab and Research Manager commented: “The Canon i-SENSYS MF4270 delivers excellent reliability, high productivity and outstanding ease of use.” He continued: “Some of the key test factors that helped earn the device its Spring 2008 Pick status included: the fastest printing of BLI’s job stream suite, faster than average first copy and print out times, excellent or very good rating in nearly all BLI image quality modes, automatic duplexing capabilities, and a user friendly walk up interface that includes hard keys for commonly used functions, minimising user time spent at the device.”

Outstanding Fax-centric MFP: i-SENSYS FAX-L3000IP
