Style with speed: new FAX-JX500 and FAX-JX200

Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 5 January 2006: Canon announces the launch of the FAX-JX500 and FAX-JX200, two high specification entry-level inkjet faxes that introduce a new stylish and user-friendly design. Designed for SOHO (Small Office Home Office) use, replacing the FAX-B840 and FAX-B820, both new models offer high quality fax and copy features and are the first inkjet models to benefit from FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print head technology.

The FAX-JX500 and FAX-JX200 offer improved performance, combining the advantages of FINE with Canon’s UHQ  (Ultra High Quality) image processing. The flagship FAX-JX500 features a high speed Super G3 modem  – unique at this price point – and a convenient Digital Answering Machine.
