World’s most powerful DVD camcorder

DC50 Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 06 January, 2007: Canon today introduces a new flagship camcorder in its DVD range, the 5.39 Megapixel Canon DVD Camcorder DC50. The world’s most powerful DVD camcorder,1 the DC50 inherits the DIGIC DV II2 image processor and the Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS),3 technologies originally developed for Canon’s High Definition (HD) products.
