Super fast scans
With the same high speed for scanning in black and white, greyscale and colour, productivity will soar. Canon’s advanced 3-line CMOS sensor has accelerated colour scanning. Data can be distributed electronically to the company network or via email, saving time and cutting costs. Batches of documents can even be scanned for immediate, automatic email distribution in one quick and simple operation.
Versatile and flexible
The DR-5010C handles all documents smoothly, from large A3 pages down to the smallest cards. Plastic, cardboard, thick and even very thin paper pose no problems, thanks to the special straight paper path, which is incorporated in addition to the U-paper path.
Reliable scanning
While the dual feeding mechanism ensures reliable document feeding, a range of other features mean you can rely on seamless unattended scanning. Text orientation, Automatic Paper Size Detection, Skew Correction and Skip Blank Page give the results you want, with no wasting time waiting by the scanner. A new ‘Rapid Recovery’ system quickly resumes scanning after any errors.
Highest image quality
Capture the most intricate image details with an optical resolution up to 600 dpi. The 3-line CMOS sensor enhances colour quality while eliminating the problem of colour staining. A special 3D colour correction function faithfully reproduces colour information. Optimise the legibility of hard to scan documents with faint text or dark backgrounds with text enhancement and black and white contrast features. A 'remove punch hoes' function automatically whites out black dots when scanning documents stored in binders.
Powerful, time saving software
The DR-5010C is bundled with CapturePerfect software, which brings versatility to an extensive range of applications, while also optimising image quality and overall ease of use. The addition of Adobe® Acrobat® Standard allows you to create text-searchable PDF files for archiving or sharing.
Optional Imprinters
Add data to scanned documentation with Canon’s optional Imprinter 50F for printing on the front - or optional Imprinter 50B for printing on the back. Unique imprinting technology prints bitmap images such as signatures, stamps and logos in black, red or purple. Numbers, codes names, dates and times can also be added, ensuring that all scanned documentation can be fully controlled and authenticated.
