Seeing the world a different way
The EF 15mm f/2.8 FE covers a massive 180˚ view in all directions producing circular images. The lens provides huge depth of field and has a minimum close-focusing distance of 20cm, giving close-up images a completely new perspective. The images delivered by this lens are suitable for those shooting panoramic work, stitching multiple frames together to form 360˚ photographs.
Lens hood & filters
Although it has the widest angle of view of any Canon lens, the EF 15mm f/2.8 still includes a built-in lens hood to shield the front element, reducing flare and providing physical protection. The lens also features a drop-in gelatine filter holder, allowing filters to be used for creative effects.
Fast maximum aperture
A maximum aperture of f/2.8 means the EF 15mm f/2.8 FE can be used in low light, as well as giving photographers more control over depth of field.
Fully Electronic Lens Mount
An integrated AF motor provides fast autofocusing performance. The lens' electromagnetic diaphragm ensures incredibly accurate control over aperture positioning.
Super Spectra coating
Super Spectra coatings help to the lens to deliver accurate colour balance and high contrast, as well as suppressing flare by reducing internal reflections.
